This page records an earlier Validator Reward Program that allocated [vPoints](/vault-points/points-program) according to validators' shares of [direct stake](/stake/direct-staking). It describes the campaign's announced terms.

## How It Works [#how-it-works]

The campaign was for eligible approved validators receiving direct stake. Rewards were scheduled for distribution on February 14, 2025.

## Eligibility Requirements [#eligibility-requirements]

The announced eligibility requirements were:

* Be an [approved](/approved/approved-validators) validator.
* Be receiving direct stake from the pool.

## Reward Structure [#reward-structure]

The campaign announced the following reward structure:

* The initial prize pool was 1,000,000 vPoints.
* The announced pool increase was 500,000 vPoints for each additional 10,000 SOL of direct stake across validators.
* vPoints were scheduled for distribution proportionally based on each validator's monthly average share of the total direct stake in the pool.
