✨Points program

To bootstrap our stake pool, we have launched a points program. Points can be earned participating in select DeFi integrations. On a later date, points will be redeemable for governanace tokens, which is our governance and utility token. More info on this will follow.

On-chain points

The current points meta, being a number on a website that goes up, is long overdue for an overhaul. We are the first to start our points program fully on-chain. That means that Vault Points are SPL tokens. Under the hood, we use Quarry as staking mechanism to earn Vault Points. All ways to earn points can be found here.

Due note that in option 2 you are actively providing liquidity, which means there is a chance of impermanent loss. However, given the fact the vSOL is always redeemable for the underlying SOL, the vSOL:SOL price should be very stable and only go up at a steady pace due to staking rewards. Only the vSOL portion of your deposit will earn LST staking rewards.

Please note that there will be more ways of earning points, that is yet to be announced.

Points to governance token

At some later date (target date is Q4 2024) points will be redeemable for our governance token. The exchange rate is to be determined.
