Network Security Rewards

The staking APY fluctuates over time but is generally somewhere between 6% and 8%. We try to both maximise the staking APY while also bootstrapping communities with their validator. Note that this staking APY excludes any extra rewards gained on top, like points, other token rewards or (future) bribe rewards.

MEV

All allowlisted validators are required to capture MEV rewards. This means that vSOL captures maximum MEV commission on top of regular staking rewards, which boosts the APY considerably.

Reward Tokens

As part of the validator bootstrapping process ecosystem communities will be encouraged to offer token rewards through the vSOL and Saber vSOL-SOL LP token quarries, offering greater potential for yields on top of the standard stake yield.
